🍽️ Dinner Options at HandyCon October

For HandyCon October at Staverton Park Hotel & Golf Club in Daventry, attendees will have the option of booking a dinner buffet on Friday and Saturday evenings.

The buffet will be available from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm, with a different menu each evening, including starters, salads, main courses and desserts. (Check menu down bellow.)


đź’· Buffet Prices

  • Adult: £23.60 per evening

  • Child: £12.30 per evening

Prices include payment fees.


If you would prefer to avoid the additional payment fees, you can contact the hotel directly to book at the discounted rates of £22 per adult and £11 per child. Staverton Park Hotel: 01327 220676 Important booking information: If you are not staying at the hotel, you must book your dinner buffet through the HandyCon order form. Direct booking with the hotel at the discounted rate is only available to hotel guests.



🍴 Bar

A bar food menu will also be available from midday until 10:00 pm for those who prefer an alternative to the buffet or the tuck shop. A 10% discount will be applied to the regular menu prices.

Opening times: The bar opens at 11:00 am, with food served from 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm. There is no fixed closing time for the bar; this is at the manager's discretion on the night.



🥪 Tuck shop

A tuck shop will be available on the convention floor as a convenient alternative to the bar food menu. More information coming soon.

  • Main Courses:

    • Fish and Chips with Mushy Peas (F/G)

    • Beef Hot Pot with Potato, Carrot and Onion (SD)

    • Cumberland Sausage with Mashed Potato and Onion Gravy (MI/SD)

    • Rosemary and Garlic Roast Chicken with Red Wine Jus (SD)

    • Cheesy Baked Pasta (G/MI)

    • Buttered Steamed Vegetables (MI)


Vegan main course options are currently under discussion with the hotel. We will update this information as soon as we receive confirmation.

    • Beetroot and Goat's Cheese Salad (MI/Mu)


  • Main Courses

    • Fisherman's Pie (F/MI)

    • Beef, Ale and Mushroom Casserole (SD)

    • Chicken, Ham and Leek Pie (MI/SD/G/Mu)

As part of our agreement with the venue, outside food is not permitted in the convention areas or the hotel's communal spaces. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
