Maybe the opportunity to be part of the OG Staverton Park HandyCon is not enough for you?

Maybe the chance to turn up and play loads of games in well-lit and warm rooms while the gloom and darkness set in outside isn't enough for you?

Well, here are just 5 reasons we think you should be excited about October Handycon.

New Venue

We are in the biggest, most modern and most convention-friendly hotel we have been in for 3 days, where the library, the bring and buy and the usual Handycon experience have been 'turned up to 11.'

Halloween

Why not get in the spirit of Handyween and dress up for all or part of the weekend, with special trick-or-treat prizes for everyone who is dressed up on Saturday evening. Unlock the Handycon stretch ghouls and have a spooktacular time.

Essen Releases

Paul and other team members braved the 220,000 people in the Halls of Essen, Germany, and are back this week resplendent with new-hotness, fun new titles, and new games added to the Library. Plus, Paul FH is offering teaching and learning games for many of these titles over the weekend. Visit the game organiser to sign up.

Essen Game: Recall (Teaching Game)

Essen Game: Gaudi (Learning game)

Essen Game: -60° (Learning game)

Essen Game - Minikin City

Essen Game - Oil Rock (Teaching Game)

Essen Game - Misfit Heroes (Learning Game)

New Venue, New Parkrun

Come with us on Saturday morning to Daventry Parkrun and add a new venue to your list. 5k on a nice parkland trail, then a day of gaming. What could be better for the spirit?

Be part of shaping the future of Handycon

Paul will be after your feedback this weekend: what works well, what we can improve, and what we can shape for January. We'll learn from your feedback and work to make it the best open gaming weekend in the UK. You can help make that happen.
