Lots of wonderful people have had an awesome day already at our Day Zero, pre-con day, with others attending the Hachette retailers' day in another room and having an amazing time.
As I speak, the library is being finished, the Bring & Buy is being constructed, banners are being assembled, and the skywriting plane is taxiing to the runway.
At 9 am tomorrow we open the doors and welcome you all for another festival of gaming, which sources are already calling 'the best board gaming weekend in Milton Keynes, this weekend, run by Paul and his team.'

As some of you know, we at Handycon have been spending a lot of time securing a new venue for October, trying to ensure each Handycon attracts new gamers while keeping all the facets of the previous events. To do this, Paul and others have driven up and down the M1 and M40, visiting many hotels. Some kind attendees have been very gracious in their thanks and support for ways they can help make Handycon bigger and better.
There is one way you may be able or willing to support us and get something amazing for your troubles. At Handycon, we have been fortunate enough to acquire copies of the amazing game, Salamandra, from Hachette Games, and we are the first place in the UK to be able to retail it to you. For £39 from reception, you can pick up a copy any time from today until they are gone, and the money we receive can be used to improve the infrastructure, replace some of our tired shelving, and help us launch in October with a bang. What you get in exchange is a game Paul genuinely thinks is one of the best from 2025/6, and everyone wins.
We have 22 at the front desk now. We can get another 30 on Friday afternoon. It would be amazing if we sold out and you got to play the game at the convention.
We hope you have an amazing weekend.
