We hope you all enjoyed our first Halloween at HandyCon.

Thank you to all our attendees for always being amazing and creating a lovely environment that we all appreciate at HandyCon.
Here is a blog about what was going on throughout the weekend!
Starting with the best costumes during the weekend and the winners of the costume competition:
* Full body shots are in the last gallery of this post. ;)
The winners of the costume competition are TacoCat and Cruella!
Please get in touch with us to claim your HandyCon ticket.
Halloween Special Events:
We also had a few Introduction to Dungeons & Dragons sessions with Chris, which were a success, and we will be running new one-shot sessions at the next Con.
Some fresh ESSEN releases at Alex's teaching table with some busy morning sessions at one of the Arcadia tables available.

A devilish Tyrants of the Underdark competition - here Zoe is stacking impaled heads around her Drow Council, and Stephen loved it so much he joined twice! Watch out for more “Classics with Graham” at future HandyCon.

Late-night Betrayal Legacy sessions, "good to know that people never take it seriously".
In 1763, the house was swarmed by little Mary's little porcelain friends (haunted dolls), which were defeated by Dave the cat. And in 1797, some conspicuous candelabras and other furniture murdered many of the ones attending a funeral, but a single survivor managed to bonfire most of the furniture, although the candelabras survived.
And, courtesy of our gorgeous Handycon superstars Keith and Sarah, our 3-table 20-car PitchCar Grand Prix got a tricksy Halloween glow-up!
Playtest Zone:
As many attendees already know, we like to give space for game designers, whether it is for hobby and passion or for serious and professional reasons.
If you are looking to playtest your board game, you can already apply for 2026 Cons via our Join Us page.
HC ⭐️ Winner:
As some of you know, we like to incentivise attendees who participate in events and playtests. By collecting 4 ⭐️, they can enter a draw for a full-weekend ticket.
And the winner of the HC October 2026 Draw was Danny Ha.
.. as no email was written on your ticket, we will find YOU and when we find you … we will give you a ticket 🧐
Exhibitors:
If you would like to become an Exhibitor at HandyCon, you can already apply for the 2026 Cons via our Join Us page.
Hachette Boardgames UK:
Flavien visited us and brought a selection of free goodies, along with a top-secret showcase featuring upcoming games to be released!
