It has come to our attention that a number of attendees have received parking tickets when parking in the Holiday Inn car park.
This should not have happened. You do not have any money to pay. Do not pay the fine. We were advised by the hotel that the cameras would be off every day of the convention, the parking company messed up. If you have received a ticket, please email email@example.com with the details and they will deal with it for you.
It is incredibly disappointing that this has happened. We relayed the information we got from the hotel and despite following it, many of you have still received tickets. This is unacceptable and we will make sure it does not happen at the next HandyCon.
We apologise for the hassle this has caused and hope it has not put too much of a sting in the tail to what has otherwise been an incredible weekend.
